Larnaca International Airport – Refurbishment of the Arrival Lounge.

Iacovou Brothers (Constructions) Ltd, can proudly announce that the first building undertaken by the joint venture Hermes Airports has been completed with great success.

The extension works to the arrival lounge with a total area of 1500 sq.mtrs and  the  placing of the two new conveyor (luggage) belts were completed by Iacovou Brothers (Constructions) Ltd, while the electromechanical works were completed by the company Champomed.

The works with a total contract value of almost € 2.000.000 commenced on the 25/7/05 and were completed within the time frame specified on the 19/12/05.  In fact, within 18 weeks our company managed to complete and deliver the building according to the scheduled programme, as defined in the architectural drawings.

The new arrival lounge which was ready for public use as of the 25/11/05 and the new conveyor belts  which were put in use on the 19/12/05, have upgraded the arrival lounge thus, offering a faster and more comfortable travel experience to all those in-coming travellers using Larnaca Airport.
